Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Ephrin receptors and their ligands, the ephrins, mediate numerous developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system.
Ephrins are divided into two classes:

• Ephrin-A (EFNA): Membrane-anchored via glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage
• Ephrin-B (EFNB): Transmembrane proteins

Eph receptors are divided into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and ligand-binding affinity. They form the largest subgroup of the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family.
The EphB6 receptor encoded by this gene lacks kinase activity typical of most RTKs and binds ephrin-B ligands.
