Product Specific Information

This antibody is preservative-free. To prevent contamination, it is recommended to add sodium azide to a final concentration of 0.05–0.1%.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.

This antibody is specific for Human EPOR.


Target Information

EpoR encodes the erythropoietin receptor, a member of the cytokine receptor family. When erythropoietin binds, Jak2 tyrosine kinase is activated, triggering intracellular pathways such as Ras/MAP kinase, PI3K, and STAT transcription factors.
Activated EpoR supports erythroid cell survival. Mutations may lead to erythroleukemia or familial erythrocytosis, and dysregulation may influence tumor growth. Multiple transcript variants arise via alternative splicing.
