For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3) is a key transcriptional regulator of type I interferon (IFN)-dependent immune responses. It plays a crucial role in innate immunity against DNA and RNA viruses by activating transcription of IFN-α, IFN-β, and interferon-stimulated genes (ISG).
Upon viral infection or TLR signaling, IRF3 is phosphorylated by IKBKE and TBK1, leading to dimerization and nuclear translocation, where it associates with CREB binding protein to form DRAF1 complex and activate IFN gene transcription.
Mutations in IRF3 are associated with acute, infection-induced, herpes-specific encephalopathy.
