Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as an approximately 150 kDa band and upon reduction generates ~25 kDa light chain and ~50 kDa heavy chain bands.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits and screening individual clones to select optimal candidates.

Target Information

IL-34 is secreted as a dimeric protein and belongs to no known cytokine family. It signals via the M-CSF receptor (CSF-1R, CD115), which it shares with M-CSF. Although IL-34 has no amino acid sequence homology with M-CSF, they have similar secondary structures and overlapping functions.
IL-34 promotes myeloid cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation, and plays a role in osteoclast formation. Expression is detected in various tissues, with the highest levels in the spleen.
