Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
YBX1 binds to splice sites in pre-mRNA and regulates splice site selection. It stabilizes cytoplasmic mRNA and modulates translation by affecting interactions between mRNA and eukaryotic initiation factors.
This protein binds to promoters containing a Y-box (5'-CTGATTGGCCAA-3'), such as HLA class II genes, and regulates transcription of multiple genes. It promotes separation of mismatched or cisplatin-modified DNA strands and exhibits endonucleolytic activity, potentially contributing to DNA repair.
