Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The PKC family of serine/threonine kinases, including PRKCD (PKC delta), is activated by intracellular signal transduction pathways. In humans, at least 12 PKC isoforms have been identified, differing in structure, localization, and substrate specificity.
PKC family members:
- Are Ca²⁺- and phospholipid-dependent (conventional PKCs: alpha, beta I, beta II, gamma)
- Can be activated by calcium and diacylglycerol
- Phosphorylate diverse protein targets and participate in multiple signaling pathways
- Serve as receptors for phorbol esters (tumor promoters)
PKC delta is involved in B cell signaling and regulates growth, apoptosis, and differentiation in various cell types. Studies in human and mouse models confirm its functional roles. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been observed.
