Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information
Insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) are mitogenic polypeptide growth factors that promote proliferation and survival of various cell types, including muscle, bone, and cartilage.
IGFs are mainly produced by the liver, though other tissues also produce them at specific times.
They belong to the insulin gene family, sharing structural and functional similarities with insulin but exhibiting higher growth-promoting activity.
IGF-II expression is influenced by placental lactogen, while IGF-I is regulated by growth hormone. Both signal through the tyrosine kinase type I receptor (IGF-IR), with IGF-II also signaling via the IGF-II/Mannose-6-phosphate receptor.
Mature IGFs are generated by proteolytic processing of inactive precursors containing N- and C-terminal propeptides.
