CD49b (Integrin alpha 2, Integrin alpha 2 chain, VLA-2 alpha chain, HM alpha 2)는 인테그린 패밀리에 속하는 150 kD의 당단백질로, CD29 (Integrin beta 1)과 복합체를 형성하여 VLA-2 (Integrin α2β1, GPIa/IIa)로 작용합니다.
VLA-2는 라미닌, 콜라겐, 피브로넥틴과 결합하는 세포외 수용체로, 리간드 결합 시 세포 내 신호전달 경로를 활성화합니다. VEGF 유도 혈관신생, 세포 부착, 림프구 활성화에 관여하며, NK 세포, NK-T 세포, 단핵구, 혈소판, 상피세포, 일부 CD4⁺ T 세포 및 Tr1 세포 등에서 발현됩니다.
