Anti-Malate Dehydrogenase is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process including delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion-exchange chromatography, followed by extensive dialysis against the specified buffer.
Immunoelectrophoresis shows a single precipitin arc against anti-Sheep Serum and purified Malate Dehydrogenase [Pig Heart].
Cross-reactivity with other tissues and species may occur but has not been specifically determined.
Target Information
MDH1 is localized to the cytoplasm and plays a pivotal role in the malate-aspartate shuttle, which coordinates metabolism between cytosol and mitochondria.
