Purification Note:
Anti-Fructosyl-Amino Acid Oxidase is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum using delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion-exchange chromatography, followed by extensive dialysis. Immunoelectrophoresis shows a single precipitin arc against anti-Sheep Serum and purified Fructosyl-Amino Acid Oxidase (E. coli). Cross-reactivity with other sources is unknown.
Target Information
Fructosyl amino acid oxidase is a flavoprotein that catalyzes the oxidation of fructosyl amino acids to produce glucosone, amino acid, and hydrogen peroxide.
This antibody is useful for research in diabetes and glycation-related studies.
