This antibody detects endogenous levels of MEF2A only when phosphorylated at Threonine 312.

Proteins of the structural maintenance of chromosomes (SMC) family are essential for chromosome structural changes. They are involved in condensation and segregation of mitotic chromosomes. Four human SMC proteins form two distinct heterodimeric complexes:

- hSMC1/hSMC3 complex
