Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
EIF2a (Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A) is a heterotrimer composed of alpha, beta, and gamma subunits. This factor facilitates initiator methionyl-tRNA binding to the 40S ribosome in an AUG-dependent manner to form the 43S pre-initiation complex. Under stress conditions, phosphorylation of EIF2A inhibits EIF2B activity, preventing guanine nucleotide exchange.
