Target Information
PHOX2A와 PHOX2B는 paired-homeodomain 전사 인자로, 배아 발생 중 노르아드레날린성 표현형을 결정하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. PHOX2 단백질은 신경 능선 세포에서 내인성 하이드록실화 효소의 발현을 조절하고 교감 신경 세포 생성을 촉진합니다.
PHOX2B는 DNA 결합 homeobox 도메인을 포함하며, 뇌의 모든 중심 및 비주변 노르아드레날린성 센터의 분화를 위해 필요합니다. 반면 PHOX2A는 주요 노르아드레날린성 뇌 센터의 분화만을 조절합니다. PHOX2 조절은 노르아드레날린성 뉴런의 퇴화와 관련된 질환이나 노화 연구에 잠재적 활용 가능성을 가집니다.
