• MA3-024 detects NFATc1 (NFAT2) from transfected human, rat, mouse, and monkey cells.
• Does not cross-react with NFATc2 (NFAT1).

• Detects an ~105 kDa band corresponding to transfected NFAT2 in COS cell lysate.

Target Information

NFATC1 (Nuclear Factor of Activated T-Cells, Cytoplasmic 1) is a component of the NFAT DNA-binding transcription complex, which regulates inducible gene transcription during immune responses.
This complex includes a cytosolic component that translocates to the nucleus upon TCR stimulation and an inducible nuclear component.
NFATC1 serves as a major molecular target for immunosuppressive drugs such as cyclosporin A.
Five transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified, potentially regulating different cytokine gene expressions.
