Product Specific Information
Preparation: This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Human CD66a (CEACAM1) (Met1–Gly428) and conjugated with APC under optimum conditions. Unreacted APC was removed.
Storage: Store at 2–8°C for up to 12 months without detectable loss of activity. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Sodium azide is toxic; dispose with large volumes of water.
Target Information
CEACAM1 is a member of the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) gene family, part of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It functions as a cell adhesion molecule expressed on leukocytes, epithelia, and endothelia. CEACAM1 mediates cell adhesion through homophilic and heterophilic interactions and is involved in tissue organization, angiogenesis, apoptosis, tumor suppression, metastasis, and immune modulation. Multiple isoforms have been identified, with two full-length forms characterized.
