Product Specific Information
- Preparation: Antibody obtained from rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Human CD66a (CEACAM1) (Met1–Gly428), conjugated with PE under optimal conditions. Unreacted PE removed.
- Storage: Store at 2–8°C for up to twelve months. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Sodium azide is toxic; dispose properly with large volumes of water.
Target Information
CEACAM1 is a member of the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family within the immunoglobulin superfamily. It functions as a cell adhesion molecule found on leukocytes, epithelia, and endothelia. CEACAM1 mediates homophilic and heterophilic interactions, contributing to tissue organization, angiogenesis, apoptosis, tumor suppression, metastasis, and immune modulation. Multiple transcript variants exist, with two full-length isoforms identified.
