Product Specific Information

Preparation: This antibody was obtained from a rabbit immunized with purified, recombinant Human IL4R (Met1–His232) and conjugated with PE under optimum conditions. Unreacted PE was removed.

Storage: Store at 2–8°C for up to twelve months without detectable loss of activity. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Sodium azide is toxic and should be disposed of properly with large volumes of water.

Target Information

IL4 Receptor alpha (IL4RA) is the alpha chain of the interleukin 4 receptor, binding both interleukin 4 and interleukin 13 to regulate IgE production, chemokine, and mucus production at sites of allergic inflammation. IL4 response promotes Th2 differentiation. The secreted extracellular domain, sIL4R alpha, can inhibit IL4-mediated cell proliferation and IL5 upregulation by T-cells but has no signaling abilities. Allelic variations in IL4RA are associated with atopy, including allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, or eczema.
