Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The 90 kDa heat shock protein (Hsp90) family of molecular chaperones is a highly conserved group of proteins with important physiological roles. Hsp90 is involved in numerous cellular processes and is associated with signal transduction machinery.
TRAP1, a homolog of Hsp90, is found associated with various proteins involved in diverse cellular actions. Immunofluorescence data indicate TRAP1 localization in the mitochondria of mammalian cells. The presence of a mitochondrial targeting presequence strongly suggests TRAP1 functions as a mitochondrial matrix protein.
