Product Specific Information
Reconstitution:
Dissolve the protein in sterile double-distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/mL or lower.
It is recommended to aliquot and use as soon as possible.
Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
Target Information
CEA (Carcinoembryonic Antigen, CD66e)는 태아의 장에서 발현되며, 성인에서는 주로 장암 및 기타 종양에서 과발현됩니다.
CEA는 면역글로불린 초유전자 패밀리에 속하는 세포접착분자로, N 도메인(면역글로불린 가변영역과 상동)과 여섯 개의 상수형 도메인(A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3)으로 구성됩니다.
CEA 항체는 다양한 전이성 선암의 기원을 구분하는 데 유용하며, 폐선암(약 60–70% CEA 양성)과 흉막중피종(드물거나 약한 CEA 양성)을 감별하는 데 사용됩니다.
CEA는 내배엽 유래 소화계 상피 및 태아 대장에서 발견되는 종양 표지자로, 세포 간 접착, 조직 구조 형성, 혈관신생, 세포사멸, 종양 억제, 전이, 면역 반응 조절 등 다양한 기능을 수행합니다.
여러 전사 변이체가 보고되었으나, 모든 변이체의 완전한 구조는 아직 정의되지 않았습니다.
