R-spondin 계열 유전자로, 두 개의 cysteine-rich furin-like 도메인과 하나의 thrombospondin type 1 도메인을 가진 분비 활성화 단백질을 암호화합니다. 마우스 모델에서 crypt 세포 증식을 유도하고 장 상피 치유를 촉진하여 항암 치료로 인한 부작용에 보호 효과를 제공합니다.
