Target Information
이 유전자는 인간 Arp2/3 단백질 복합체의 7개 서브유닛 중 하나를 암호화합니다. 해당 서브유닛은 SOP2 단백질 계열에 속하며, ARPC1A 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질과 유사합니다. 두 단백질 모두 세포 내 actin 중합 조절에 관여하는 Arp2/3 복합체의 p41 서브유닛으로 기능할 가능성이 있습니다. p41 서브유닛은 Arp2/3 복합체의 구조 유지 및 조립에 관여하며, 세포 유형이나 발달 단계에 따라 다른 버전이 존재할 수 있습니다. 또한 이 단백질은 Aurora A kinase의 활성화 및 기질로 작용하여 중심체 항상성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
