Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The p95 gene (identical to NBS1 and nibrin) is part of the hMre11/hRad50 double-strand break complex.
This complex is associated with Nijmegen breakage syndrome, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by increased cancer risk, cell cycle checkpoint defects, and sensitivity to ionizing radiation.
It provides a molecular link between double-strand break repair and cell cycle checkpoint functions.
