Target Information
Ubiquitin-like protein ISG15은 바이러스 감염에 대한 선천 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 합니다.
ISGylation을 통해 타깃 단백질에 결합하거나, 자유 단백질로 작용할 수 있습니다.
Type I interferon 자극에 의해 분비되어 NK 세포 증식과 비-MHC 제한성 세포독성 반응을 유도합니다.
ISG15 발현은 IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-ω에 의해 유도되며, IFN-γ에는 반응하지 않습니다.
ISG15는 monocyte, T-lymphocyte, B-lymphocyte, fibroblast, epithelial cell 등 다양한 세포에서 분비됩니다.
또한, 세포 내에서는 ubiquitin 유사 단백질로 기능하며, 유전자 변이는 Immunodeficiency 38 (IMD38)과 관련이 있습니다.
