This antibody detects endogenous levels of DDR1 only when phosphorylated at Tyr513.
Target Information
DDR1 is a receptor tyrosine kinase activated by collagen and involved in regulating adhesion, cell migration, and other cellular processes. Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are key in cell communication with the microenvironment, influencing growth, differentiation, and metabolism. DDR1 is expressed in normal and transformed epithelial cells and activated by various collagen types (I–VI). It is mainly found in epithelial tissues such as kidney, lung, gastrointestinal tract, and brain, and is overexpressed in several human tumors including breast, ovarian, esophageal, and pediatric brain cancers. The DDR1 gene is located on chromosome 6p21.3 near HLA class I genes, with multiple transcript variants due to alternative splicing.
