Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
After antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is tonsil or B cell lymphoma.
Target Information
MALT1/Paracaspase (MALT1) is a member of the human paracaspase family and an interacting partner of B-cell lymphoma (Uren et al., 2000).
MALT1 is a caspase-like protein containing an N-terminal death domain, two Ig-like domains, and a C-terminal caspase-like domain.
It binds to Bcl10 through its Ig-like domains and cooperates with Bcl10 to activate NF-kappaB.
