Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is colon carcinoma.

MLH1 is a DNA mismatch repair protein essential for maintaining genetic integrity.
Defects in mismatch repair cause microsatellite instability (MSI), which is associated with human carcinogenesis.
Mutations in mismatch repair genes such as MLH1 are linked to hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer (HNPCC).
MSH2 participates in the recognition of mismatched nucleotides and forms a heterodimer with MLH1 and PMSH to facilitate repair.
