This antibody detects endogenous levels of LRRK2 only when phosphorylated at Ser935.
Target Information
LRRK2 is a multidomain protein that includes kinase, GTPase, and leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domains. Mutations in LRRK2 are associated with Parkinson’s disease. The protein contains ankyrin repeats, a kinase domain, a DFG-like motif, a RAS domain, a GTPase domain, an MLK-like domain, and a WD40 domain. It is mainly localized in the cytoplasm and associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane.
