MCM2 (Mini chromosome maintenance protein 2)는 DNA 복제 조절에 관여하는 단백질로, 세포 주기 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. MCM2는 CDCL1, mitotin, BM28로도 알려져 있으며, 인간 핵 단백질로 DNA 복제 및 세포 분열 개시에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 초기 S-phase 단백질군과 유사하며, 3q21 염색체 위치에 존재합니다. CDCL1은 급성 골수성 백혈병(AML)에서 염색체 절단에 의해 영향을 받는 종양유전자 후보로 제시된 바 있습니다.
