Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of LETM1 only when phosphorylated at Thr192.
Target Information
The LETM1 gene encodes a protein localized to the inner mitochondrial membrane. It maintains mitochondrial tubular shape and is essential for normal mitochondrial morphology and cell viability. Mutations in this gene cause Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a complex malformation syndrome resulting from deletions on chromosome 4p. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 8, 15, and 19.
