Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine RELM alpha. Anti-Murine RELM alpha-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine RELM alpha by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required.
This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine RELM alpha (500-P214) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine RELM alpha.

Western Blot:
To detect Murine RELM alpha by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL.
When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Murine RELM alpha is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

RELM alpha (Resistin-like alpha, FIZZ1)는 약 9.4 kDa 크기의 소형 사이토카인으로, 주로 대식세포에서 생성됩니다.
소복막 대식세포, 폐포 대식세포, 지방조직 대식세포에서 높은 발현을 보이며, IL-4 및 IL-13에 의해 강하게 유도됩니다.
Arginase 1, Ym-1과 함께 M2 대식세포 극화의 대표적 마커로 알려져 있습니다.
IL-10(M2c)에 의해 극화된 대식세포에서는 RELM alpha와 Arginase 1이 발현되지 않습니다.
RELM alpha의 높은 발현은 기생충 감염을 시사할 수 있습니다.
인간은 RELM alpha 유전자가 없지만, 인간 Resistin이 서열, 조직 분포, 기능 면에서 유사합니다.
마우스의 RELM 패밀리에는 RELM beta, RELM gamma, Resistin 등이 있으며, 조직 분포와 기능이 각각 다릅니다.
RELM alpha는 기생충 감염, 점막 염증, 알레르기 반응 연구에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
