Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine RELMβ. Anti-Murine RELMβ-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine RELMβ by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine RELMβ (500-P215) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine RELMβ.

Western Blot:
To detect Murine RELMβ by Western blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Murine RELMβ is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Resistin (also known as Adipocyte Secreted Factor, ADSF, or FIZZ3) is a cytokine secreted by adipocytes. It plays a role in insulin resistance and glucose intolerance in mice, and its expression is regulated by C/EBP alpha, CBP, and p300 coactivators. PPAR gamma and RXR ligands have been shown to downregulate resistin expression in adipocytes.
