Target Information
Somatostatin은 14 및 28 아미노산 길이의 활성형으로 존재하며, 단일 preproprotein의 절단으로 생성됩니다.
이 호르몬은 전신에 발현되며, 고친화성 G-단백질 결합 수용체에 결합하여 여러 2차 호르몬의 분비를 억제합니다.
Somatostatin은 뇌하수체 성장호르몬, 갑상선 자극 호르몬, 위장관 호르몬 등 내분비계 조절에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다.
또한 중추신경계의 신경전달 조절 및 정상 및 종양 세포의 증식에도 영향을 미칩니다.
