• Binding to a single GC box inhibits mRNA expression.
• Binding to tandemly repeated GC boxes activates transcription.

KLF-9 acts as a key transcriptional regulator for uterine endometrial cell proliferation, adhesion, and differentiation during pregnancy and tumorigenesis.
