The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The MRP family consists of nine ABC transporters that function as efflux pumps for structurally diverse lipophilic anions.
MRP7 (multidrug resistance-associated protein 7, ATP-binding cassette sub-family C member 10) is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the ABC transporter family.
It mediates ATP-dependent transport of 17β-estradiol-D-17-β-glucuronide (E217βG) and contributes to cellular detoxification via lipophilic anion extrusion.
MRP7 contains two ABC transmembrane type 1 domains and two ABC transporter domains, and likely has three isoforms. Isoform 2 is the most widely expressed, while isoform 1 is predominantly found in the spleen.
