Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
INHAT (inhibitor of acetyltransferases) complex binds to histones and prevents them from serving as substrates for acetyltransferases. Endogenous INHAT subunits, including the Set/TAF-Iβ oncoprotein, associate with chromatin in vivo and can block coactivator-mediated transcription when transfected into cells.
