The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Zinc, an essential element required for cell proliferation and differentiation, plays roles in various cellular functions as a cofactor for enzymes, transcription factors, and as a neuroregulator. The zinc transporter (ZnT) family regulates intracellular zinc levels and is characterized by six membrane-spanning domains, a histidine-rich intracellular loop, and a C-terminal tail. ZnT-1, a 60 kDa protein, localizes to the plasma membrane and facilitates zinc export from cells.
