Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

This gene encodes a neuropeptide widely expressed in the central nervous system, influencing cortical excitability, stress response, food intake, circadian rhythms, and cardiovascular function.
It acts through G protein-coupled receptors to inhibit adenylyl cyclase, activate MAP kinase, regulate intracellular calcium, and activate potassium channels.
A polymorphism (Leu7Pro) in the signal peptide is associated with elevated cholesterol, higher alcohol consumption, and may increase risk for metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.
