Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, store aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
S1P1 is a G-protein coupled receptor for the bioactive lysosphingolipid sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P), coupled to the G(i) subclass of heteromeric G proteins.
S1P1 signaling activates RAC1, SRC, PTK2/FAK1, and MAP kinases, playing a key role in cell migration through actin cytoskeleton reorganization and lamellipodia formation.
S1P1 is essential for normal chemotaxis toward S1P, embryonic heart development, and cardiac morphogenesis.
