Product Specific Information
The MJ7/18 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD105 molecule (Endoglin), a 90 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer expressed by vascular endothelial cells. CD105 is suggested to function in adhesion and embryonic angiogenesis.
This antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis and tested on bEnd.3 cells at ≤1.0 µg/test.
A test is defined as the amount of antibody staining a cell sample (10⁵–10⁸ cells) in 100 µL final volume.
Careful titration is recommended for optimal performance.
Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 519 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
Target Information
CD105 (Endoglin) is a Type I transmembrane protein highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells.
It forms an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer and is upregulated in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, serving as a proliferation-associated endothelial marker.
CD105 binds TGF beta 1 and 3 with high affinity but not TGF beta 2.
