Product Specific Information
The eBio1D4B monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD107a, also known as lysosomal-associated membrane protein-1 (LAMP-1). CD107a is a type I lysosomal membrane protein that is extensively glycosylated and expressed constitutively in late endosomes and lysosomes. It is transiently expressed on the surface of degranulating cytolytic T cells and is implicated in cancer metastasis and lysosomal storage disorders.

- Intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis
- Surface staining in flow cytometric degranulation assays
Applications Tested:
Tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of thioglycolate-induced peritoneal exudate cells. Recommended use ≤ 0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration advised.

Target Information
LAMP1 (CD107a) is a major lysosomal membrane component, together with LAMP2. Approximately 1–2% of total CD107a is found on the plasma membrane. LAMP1 is a heavily glycosylated type I integral membrane protein involved in lysosome biogenesis and fusion with phagosomes. Its surface expression is associated with cell activation and adhesion of PBMCs to vascular endothelium, suggesting a role in inflammation. Increased LAMP1 expression is observed around senile plaques in Alzheimer’s disease and in activated mast cells.
