Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

The PKC family of serine/threonine kinases, including PRKCE (PKC epsilon), is activated intracellularly by signal transduction pathways. In humans, at least 12 PKC isoforms have been identified, differing in structure, localization, and substrate specificity.
Conventional PKC isoforms (alpha, beta I, beta II, gamma) are Ca²⁺- and phospholipid-dependent. PKC enzymes phosphorylate diverse protein targets and participate in multiple signaling pathways. They also act as major receptors for phorbol esters, known tumor promoters. Each PKC isoform exhibits distinct expression and cellular roles.
