Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Kallikrein 3, 5, 11, 13, 14, and 15 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Kallikreins, including Kallikrein 6, are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological functions.
Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as novel cancer or disease biomarkers.
KLK6 enzyme is regulated by steroid hormones and may generate amyloidogenic fragments from amyloid precursor protein, suggesting potential involvement in Alzheimer’s disease.
