Target Information
TRAIL (CD253)는 TNF ligand family에 속하는 사이토카인으로, 변형되거나 종양화된 세포에서 선택적으로 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 유도하지만 정상 세포에는 영향을 거의 주지 않습니다.
TRAIL은 TNFRSF10A/TRAILR1, TNFRSF10B/TRAILR2, TNFRSF10C/TRAILR3, TNFRSF10D/TRAILR4, TNFRSF11B/OPG 등의 수용체와 결합하며, 일부 decoy receptor (TRAILR3, TRAILR4, OPG)는 세포사멸 신호를 유도하지 않습니다.
TRAIL 단백질은 수용체 결합 후 MAPK8/JNK, caspase 8, caspase 3의 활성화를 유도하며, DR4 및 DR5 수용체를 통해 apoptosis와 NF-κB 활성화를 매개합니다.
TRAIL은 type II 막 단백질로 다양한 인체 조직에서 발현됩니다.
