Target Information

DOC2B (Double C2 protein beta) is one of two isoforms (DOC2A and DOC2B) containing two C2-like domains. These genes are distinct from the unrelated DAB2 gene, which was initially named DOC-2. DOC2B is ubiquitously expressed and is suggested to play a role in calcium-dependent intracellular vesicle trafficking in various cell types.
