Description:
The JES3-9D7 monoclonal antibody reacts with human interleukin-10 (IL-10).

Applications Reported:
Used for intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of Th2 polarized human peripheral blood cells using the Intracellular Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set (Product #88-8824-00) and BestProtocols® Protocol A.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (1 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

eFluor® 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue®.

Target Information

IL-10 encodes a cytokine mainly produced by monocytes and lymphocytes. It regulates immune responses and inflammation by suppressing Th1 cytokines, MHC class II, and costimulatory molecules on macrophages.
Enhances B cell survival, proliferation, and antibody production. Inhibits NF-kappa B activity and participates in JAK-STAT signaling regulation.
Knockout studies suggest IL-10 is essential for intestinal immune regulation. Mutations are associated with HIV-1 susceptibility and rheumatoid arthritis.
Diseases associated with IL10 include Graft-Versus-Host Disease and HIV-1 infection.
