Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Key Advantages:
- Superior specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broad immunoreactivity due to rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
ABL2 (Arg) is an Abl-related non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase that links cell surface receptors to cell proliferation and cytoskeletal reorganization. It encodes a member of the Abelson family of nonreceptor tyrosine protein kinases. The protein shares high similarity with ABL1, including tyrosine kinase, SH2, and SH3 domains, and plays a role in cytoskeletal rearrangements via its C-terminal F-actin and microtubule-binding sequences. ABL2 is expressed in both normal and tumor cells and is involved in translocation with the ETV6 gene in leukemia. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
