Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. After reconstitution, keep aliquots at -20°C for higher stability, and at 4°C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
PTHR2 is a specific receptor for parathyroid hormone. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. PTHR2 may be responsible for PTH effects in various physiological systems and may play a significant role in pancreatic function. The presence of PTHR2 in neurons suggests that it may function as a neurotransmitter receptor.
