Product Specific Information

Carrier-Free

  • Reconstitution: Briefly centrifuge vial before opening. Reconstitute lyophilized protein in sterile distilled water to 0.1–1.0 mg/mL. Further dilute in a buffered solution containing carrier protein (e.g., PBS with 0.1–1.0% BSA).
  • Storage: Lyophilized preparation stable at -20°C for up to 2 years. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at ≤-20°C for up to 3 months with carrier protein. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Target Information

This is a secreted chemokine that attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It belongs to the C-C chemokine subfamily, characterized by two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, which degrades components of the extracellular matrix.
