Target Information
HLA-E는 HLA class I heavy chain paralogue에 속하며, heavy chain과 light chain(beta-2 microglobulin)으로 구성된 이종이합체입니다.
Heavy chain은 막에 고정되어 있으며, 다른 class I 분자의 리더 펩타이드로부터 유래한 제한된 펩타이드 서브셋을 결합합니다.
Heavy chain의 분자량은 약 45 kDa이며, 8개의 엑손으로 구성되어 있습니다.

- Exon 2–3: alpha1, alpha2 domains (peptide 결합 부위)
- Exon 4: alpha3 domain
- Exon 5: transmembrane region
- Exon 6–7: cytoplasmic tail
