Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Anaplastic Lymphoma Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (ALK) belongs to the insulin receptor superfamily and plays a critical role in brain development.
Mutations, rearrangements, and amplifications of the ALK gene are associated with various tumors, including anaplastic large cell lymphoma, neuroblastoma, and non-small cell lung cancer.
Chromosomal rearrangements often create a fusion gene combining ALK (chromosome 2) and NPM (chromosome 5), producing the oncogenic NPM-ALK fusion protein.
ALK is a receptor tyrosine kinase with a transmembrane and extracellular domain, showing high sequence similarity to LTK, and is essential for neuronal development and signaling.
